When purchasing the 150mm Classic Range of steel lawn edging, it is useful to note two things :
The Joint
The 150mm range has a different joint to the other products which means that it can not naturally be joined to the other sizes. The top part of the joint is the same but there is a bolt connection for the bottom joint. To connect a 150mm to the other sizes, the top joint can be hooked on, it will then be necessary to drill and bolt the bottom joint. An 8.0mm hole should be drilled to take a 6.0mm bolt.
Pin and Sleeve
Extra consideration should be given to the Pin&Sleeve when buying the 150mm version. We have found that customers are installing the 150mm range and then building up the layers either side. In this scenario, the pin and sleeve can provide extra anchorage to hold the edging straight whilst the layers are being built up.
