We hold in stock a range of attractive and easy to build steel planters available either in CorTen (weathering steel) or galvanised and powder coated.
The straight top planters are delivered as 4 corner pieces and 4 side pieces and include a perforated steel base plate. At each joint, on the corners, the joining bolt head is visible to give a traditional look to the planters.
The folded top planters are a modular system. Regardless of the size of planter, the ends are all the same and the length is increased by using multiple panels, and joints between panels are all hidden internally.

Cor-Ten edging and Planters will not arrive on site already with the rusty patina, instead they will be a dull blue steel. Depending on conditions, the Cor-Ten will take between 3-6 months to go fully rusty but can continue to change over a 12 month period.
EverEdge has a galvanised coating and a thick layer of plastic powder paint coating. EverEdge will not deteriorate or rust for at least 15 years.
Only when you have very poor ground conditions, especially very loose earth or sandy ground. It can also help to give extra support to your EverEdge where the edging is supporting a slope or bank. This item is not necessary in most projects.
