Contemporary, durable, and cost-effective, the straight-top option is the perfect planter for gardening. It features visible joints on the corners, available in a range of colours to enhance the exterior space, from modern slate to rustic CorTen. The straight-top garden planter is delivered as 4 corner pieces and 4 side pieces and is very easy to assemble quickly.
Meanwhile, the folded top planter box is a modular system. This means it can be adjusted to suit the size required, from square pots for solitary trees and shrubs to large rectangular containers suitable for building an attractive raised bed. This offers a versatile solution for both residential and commercial garden projects.
With the folded top planter box, the ends are all the same regardless of the size and the length is increased by using multiple panels. Each planter box can be customised with a range of colours and finishing options. This includes CorTen, also known as weathering steel, which develops a rusty patina over time and suits both rustic, traditional and contemporary gardens.
Alternatively, the planter box can be crafted from galvanised steel and powder-coated for a resilient finish. These garden planters are available in a range of modern and classic colours, all designed to blend with the outdoor environment, including black grey, slate grey and gloss black.
A tree ring creates a clearly defined border at the base of a tree, protecting both new and established roots from damage. The planting ring acts as a physical barrier to prevent damage to the roots caused by foot traffic and lawnmowers, while also ensuring the root ball of the tree has plentiful access to nutrients and water.
Planting rings sit level with the ground, whereas our planter boxes are for potting trees and shrubs or creating a raised bed in the outdoor space.
Planting, or garden rings, have many purposes and benefits and may be used in place of garden planters in certain circumstances. While they are most often used to protect new trees and shrubs as they get established, a garden ring can also create an attractive circular flower bed, or serve as the base for landscaping features such as water fountains and sculptures. Each EverEdge Planter Box comes with simple assembly instructions and is easy to put together without the need for specialist tools or knowledge.
CorTen garden planters will not arrive on site with the rusty patina; instead, they will be a dull blue steel. Depending on conditions, the CorTen will take between 3-6 months to go fully rusty, but can continue to develop over 12 months.
